Description:
It is the most famous beach of Guarapari. Its sand is dark
and rich in monazite, with medicinal power and a high content
of radioactivity. At the end of this beach, a declivity full
of varied colors can be seen, going from purple, many shades
of red, and white. It is the famous “batinga”, moldable mud,
which is used to sculpt objects. Pedra do Crisoste: It skirts the mount of
Guarapari Center. You get to it through a hollowing on the
mount, at the end of Praia da Areia Preta.

Description:
The most frequented in the city. Chestnut trees surround it,
along its extension, which originated its name. Recifes: Are rocks at the top the water and
separate Praia das Castanheiras and Praia do Meio.

Junction of Cer or Ser= Shell used to manufacture ear-rings
and TYBA= suffix that indicates abundance, meaning “shells
in abundance”. The calm sea, the calmness and peace atmosphere
and a wonderful view that composes a picture where man and
nature complete each other.
Description:
It is the most romantic beach of Guarapari. Its name (Beach
of Valentines) is due to a legend of two valentines, spelled
for each other by the magic of the place. Pedra do Calhau: Is a little Island, at Praia
dos Namorados. Pedra do Trampolim: Separate Praia dos Namorados
and Castanheiras. Anciently in that place, there were two
trampolines that made the joy of the people. This rock has
a slope used for diving.

PRAIA
DE GUAIBURA
Description:
Name derivate from Tupi-Guarani: GUA= lagoon and IBURA= water
that emerges, fountain, cove. Pleasant fisher hiding place,
located at the end of Praia do Riacho.

Little tents, where you can buy snacks and beverages, and
restaurants.

Nova Guarapari, 6km from Guarapari.

Rodovia do Sol, in Nova Guarapari, next to Posto Verano enter
Viña Del Mar Avenue and follow the signs.

DE BACUTIA
Description:
Union of BAC= turn, change direction and CUTIA= go forward;
meaning, “change direction ahead”. Together with Praia de
Mucunã and Guaibuna, it forms a cove, which is Nova
Guarapari.
Infrastructure:
There is a restaurant that serves beverages and snacks on
the beach, besides the traditional “moqueca capixaba”.

PRAIA
DE MEAÍPE
Description:
Finally we arrived in Meaípe, this name is an indigenous
one, and when translated means Rio do Povo (River of the People).
It is a fishers’ village, located on south zone of Guarapari.
A constant beauty landscape composing a poetry scene. Lagoa da Mãe Ba: Located at the borders
of Guarapari and Anchieta. Its name, Mãe-Bá
(Mother Ba), is a praise to the chief of Negros-Galinhs Tribe
(that lived in the region). This indigenous, whose name is
Ba, was considered mother of all. In Tupi-Guarani, Mãe
(essé): look, so Ba was “the one who looks everyone”

Little tents, bars and restaurants that serve, amongst others
plates, the traditional “moqueca capixaba” and the famous
Meaípe “bolinho de mandioca”. (Cassava cake).

Nightlife is very exciting during high season. Multiplace
Mais is located in Meaípe, one of the most searched
