is necessary to swim through a small channel from Praia
do Morro or from Praia da Cerca, and to dive with cylinders
it is advisable the support of a boat. During the diving,
you can see the remains of Bepo ship, 8 meters of depth.

Best
Period: Dezember to February.
Description: English freighter with freight of Barrel of Olive and
oils. There is no precise informations about the circumstances
of the ship wreck, but there is a thought that the ship
came down after a collision against a set of recifes
next to Três Pedras, located in front of Praia
de Guaibuna in Nova Guarapari. Current
Situation of the ship: It still has structures
that can be recognized during diving, such as the head
of knotting and a big engine, the steam pipe, two main
boilers and the supporting boiler. A great number of
olive barrels still remain there, as well as Chinas,
utensils, bottles, bronze settings and other utensils
of the ship.

divers to try diving in shipwreck.
REBOCADO
Depth:
38 meters Description: A kind of raft that was
being towed but sunk, for unknown causes, 38 meters of
depth. The structure occupies an area of 25-squared meter,
where a very extensive knotting cable, on the nose. It
is an advanced diving in opened sea and with a reduced
time under water, due to the great depth.
VICTORY
8-B
Description:
Greek Flag Ship, with 89m of length, 13m of
height and almost 4 thousand tons, Victory 8B was apprehended
in 1997 by Vale do Rio Doce requested by Greece Central
Bank. Abandoned by its crew after being apprehended,
the ship was anchored right off Tubarão Port
with the oil barrel on board, bringing risks of an ecological
accident on that place. In the eminence of an accident,
SEAMA-E.S., included Victory 8B on the project named
Projeto Recifes Artificiais Marinhos do Espírito
Santo (RAM-E.S.) Project Marine Artificial Reefs of
Espirito Santo, planning its recycle, cleanness, preparation
and sinking. In 2002, the Clean up Day Foundation, via
a contract with the government, get in charge of keeping
up the Project, an on 07/03/2003 the ship was finally
sunk between Ilhas Rasa and Escalvada, in Guarapari. Remarks:
Liberated only for contemplative and leisure diving.
There is not a specific law yet that prohibits activities
at the point, bus there is a legislation that prohibits
diving with some equipments.

activity wreckages of ships and army remains can be
found, because the island was used by the Brazilian
Navy for practace. Jubarte Whales have been seen at
the area, during its annual migration period towards
Abrolhos Archipelago

Visibility: 5 to 25 meters

Specires: Sea-star, chorales, spongeslobsters,
octopuses among others.

Distance
from the coast: 6 miles
Operators:
Acqua Sub/Águaviva/Atlantes/Vilasub. Remarks: Ideal for drift dive and for
night diving. The island has a lighthouse for navigators,
which has passed for a modernization process. The old
steel cylinders, that stored the gas, where threw onto
the sea, becoming a curious observation point for divers.
BELLUCIA

18 to 27 meters
Visibility: 15 to 25 meters

Distance
from the coast: 7 miles
Description:
A steam ship from England with a cargo mostly of coffee,
sunk in 02/15/1903 after a collision, when heading from
Santos to New Orleans.
Current
situation of the ship: It is torn apart in the middle,
being the bow and the poop approximately 100 meters
apart from each other, which makes a complete inspection
of the shipwreck practically impossible in a single
dive. The part of the ship where the machinery room
was located rests upon sand, where there is a great
quantity of steel. Heading towards the poop, you can
find one of the masts fallen on board. The final section
of the ship is a bit more intact, at the end of the
boat, a great helix and the helm are partially embedded,
but still on their original place

When scheduling the diving activity, it is recommended
to check the tide first, because currents are frequent
at the point. Diving in this place is indicated to divers
with advanced diving classes PADI.
